Welcome to the FAT57 Customs blog site! This site was set up to document the going on’s and happening’s of the Jones family. The Jones’s are a family different from others, not basing their lives around some mind numbing team sport instead base it around car’s! From Hot Rods, Sleds, Street Machines to Japanese steel and Motor racing such as drifting and circuit work.
Their huge passion has obvioulsy been generator by their visionary father Mark Jones who some may know as the builder of Street Machine of the Year FAT57 or even FATGTO not to mention the 100 show cars, street cars and race cars he has built from his early ages of 16 to current all self taught with no formal training. He has taken car’s to show’s in the USA where he has been a guest at Shelby’s birthday, shown his car at the famous Barret Jackson and much more.

Mark has two sons, Harley Jones and Beauman Jones. Both growing up on speed, metal and sparks, if it went fast they wanted to be apart of it. They have had a passion for anything with a motor and wheels from a young age. Harley (19) is a promising panel beater who is excelling at a fast rate in this field and has built over 5 cars by the age of 19 with his current daily driver a body dropped XM Delivery Ford Wagon. His older son took a left turn from the families normal genre of cars and started tinkering with Japanese cars after building 3 American cars before his 18th birthday, Beauman (23) now plays with his SR20det powered AE86 drift car when not playing with rods and customs or riding his BMX.
Of course who could forget the rock that holds this family together, Jayne Jones the wife and mother in this tight knit family. Being some what of a car head herself owning a long long list of custom cars ranging from a few Cortinas to a Chev Blazer all before and after meeting Mark. These days all Jayne is looking forward to his seeing her dream house completed and owning her dream car a 49 Mercury.

So stop by when you can and check and see what’s going on with this strange family, and what cars they are building for themselves or what crazy antics the boys are up to.
