FAT-HAULER

IMG_5660

Hey peeps, been a bit slack of late. We have all been pretty busy on our own projects, but I thought I’d chuck up some pictures and details of the family transporter, FAT-HAULER a 1954 Chevrolet Cab Over Truck (COE). The Cab came to us from a venture Mark took in North Montana it was soon shipped back home to Australia. The truck lived most of its life through the 1950’s-1960’s as a oil tanker before being parked for sometime. After a long trip half way around the world the Cab found itself in our driveway where it was given some much needed attention.

The plan was simple! Clean it up, paint it so it could replace our tired C30 ramp truck. Obviously a lot easier to say then actually do. For weeks the truck was stripped, beated, grinded and then sat in primer for some time while the existing chassis was modified for the new cab’s arrival. This included extending the chassis, building the living quarters and of course installing the 540 big block which has proved to make even the ACT High Patrol prove their worth. The Truck features a custom air bag suspension set up, dual rear end, full living quarters complete with 3 beds, couches, 3 Tv’s, more stero then your average sound off show and all the living utilities you would need.

Watch out for it at your next show!
